#christianmusicthatdoesntsuck

There is a lot of music out there that as Christians we shouldn’t be filling our minds with – Philippians 4:8 tells us to “fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Which rules out a lot of the best selling songs.

And while the obvious solution is to listen to Christian music, a lot of it isn’t that great. A lot of christian music is essentially a poor copy of what has been doing well in the secular charts. Or is full of ‘love songs to Jesus’ style songs that are very cheesy. But luckily we are here to save the day with a brand new playlist of “Christian music that doesn’t suck” – 13 hours of some of the very best current Christian bands, including:

  • 33 Miles
  • Casting Crowns
  • Lecrae
  • Matt Redman
  • Brandon Heath
  • Rend Collective Experiment
  • Gungor
  • David Crowder Band
  • S.O.
  • Tenth Avenue North
  • and many others

And if there is a band you think should be on it but isn’t yet, suggest them in the comments or tweet it with the hashtag #christianmusicthatdoesnt suck and they may just get added. Click here to subscribe to it in Spotify, or use the player below to get listening now.
