Mary Did You Know (Cee Lo Green)

It has to be a Christmas song for this week’s worship post, right? And this may not be the most obvious choice – it really shouldn’t on paper work, but somehow it does, and the video is fantastic. It isn’t every Christian blog that posts Cee Lo Green songs, but he doesn’t want you to forget (or other less radio edit friendly things) anyone today. Today he is reminding us that yes we celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus at Christmas, but we celebrate it because of who He grew up to be, and what he grew up to do. The video is made up of clips from the forthcoming Bible Series TV show and is well worth a watch.
