You can make things happen!

I’ve heard way too many times, people saying they “wish” this would happen, or they “want” this to happen, or the “hope” this would happen. But they never make any effort to make it come true! What use is words without the actions to accompany it?

Words without deeds are dead words.
Think about the Pharisees. While the Pharisees would always tell people to help and care for each other, they would never lift a finger to help people themselves.
It’s a bit like you being a beggar, standing in the streets, waiting for people to give you money, but not setting out a tin for them to put the money in. It’s no good just waiting and hoping for other people to take action, you need to do something as well!
It may be easier to just sit back and wait for somebody else to take action and make things happen, but it would be far more effective to make an effort yourself. It might surprise you how much of a difference just you yourself can make, with just a small action! We all have the power to make things happen, it only depends on whether we make full use of that power or not.
