She leaves a legacy
Time for a Sunday evening tear-jerker. Charlene Barr was born on 18th July 1990. She had cystic fibrosis. Life wasn’t easy. But after going to Uganda in 2008 she became determined to raise money to build a school to give children a bright hope for the future. The charity she set up recently managed to raise the £120,000 needed to build that school. All achieved by one young girl with a major illness. On October 30th, aged just 20, Charlene went to be with her Father in heaven, leaving behind the most amazing legacy of a life lived to the full, of a life not wasted, of a life that glorifies God. What kind of legacy will we leave?
