Introducing Foundations
If you are aged 20-30 and live in the general Belfast/Lisburn region of Northern Ireland then you will want to attend Foundations, a new initiative being launched for 20-30 year old Christians by DDYC.
‘’Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.’ Jeremiah 6:16
Foundations is a new project aimed at a generation of people in the 20-30s age group, to affirm God’s call in our lives and to reconnect us to the foundations of our faith.
Foundations is aimed at those that want to grow and share a faith that is biblical, mature, heartfelt, and risk-taking.
It will unashamedly seek to teach and challenge us to develop Christian disciplines and characteristics that will saturate every part of our life and resonate with society.
The first evening of Foundations will be Saturday 23rd February 7:30pm -10:00pm @ Dock café, Titanic quarter Belfast.
the first block|meeting is about to start called foundations:calling
Calling: A bi-monthly open gathering to encourage the personal discipleship of participants. Calling will be welcoming, informal, relational and interactive but also involve serious teaching and discussion on the disciplines of Christian faith. Calling will inspire and challenge us to develop spiritual disciples such as study, prayer, service, celebration, reflection and Sabbath. Calling is a ‘stand alone’ informal and on-going gathering on discipleship.
The other dates for Spring are 20th April & 8th June – put them in your phone calendar now !
